Attorney/Client Privilege - Unless you have retained our services do not send our office confidential information. We may currently represent a party in your case or represented them in the past. We could have a legal obligation to release any information regarding your case to our clients.

Timeliness - Although e-mail may seem to be more timely than other forms of communication we respond no differently than we would a fax or written letter. If you are sending time sensitive material please call the office to let us know. If you have not received a response to your e-mail within 2 days please call the office to make sure your e-mail has been received and that your
attorney is not out of the office due to vacation, illness, or business.

Confidential Information - E-mail is stored and transferred through many computer systems. We are not required to encrypt any messages sent over the internet. It could be possible that someone could illegally access your confidential information. If you are sending e-mail from work you could be violating an e-mail policy barring the use of company e-mail for personal use. Your employer may have a right to read your e-mail.

Illinois Law - We are licensed and practice law in the state of Illinois and certain federal courts. We cannot provide information unless it regards a legal matter within Illinois.

Reply Address - Replies to your e-mail will be sent to your own e-mail address. If you would like us to respond to another address please specify that in the beginning of our representation of you.
